Being an entrepreneur is hard. Working in network marketing is hard work too. That’s because basically you will commit to working 2-5 years like most people won’t, so that you can enjoy the rest of your life like most people can’t.
It’s not a complex or difficult line of business to be in. Far from it, literally anyone can do it. Anyone can reach the top. But it does take time, commitment and consistent effort. Those 2-5 years are only ‘hard’ because more often than not people start their network marketing business as a side hustle. They work it alongside their day job until they reach a certain level of financial and time freedom.
The catch here is that being an employee is hard too. Most people will dedicate upwards of 40 years to a working life that involves trading their time for money building someone else’s dream. The lucky ones get to enjoy what they do. But many don’t. Some find themselves stuck, unfulfilled, under-valued, stressed-out or even sick. They then retire on around 40 per cent of their salaried income and wonder what that working life was all about.
I know I’m slightly biased but the renewed and/or different sense of purpose is one of the things I love most about my side hustle. I love being part of a global tribe all working towards a single (wellbeing) purpose.
I love the positivity, the optimism, the open-ended opportunity.
So being an employee is hard. And, being an entrepreneur is hard. Choose your hard.
